I wanted the decorative typefaces to exude a serious, old-timey Cyrillic vibe, so I really lucked out with these two, especially with the over-the-top flair of CSAR.
Papers
I couldn’t find a cheap, used red Adidas track suit with white stripes, which I had planned on cutting up for the case binding. So I made do with the red and white striped paper in my collection. I also went with my standard paper bag brown cardstock for the endpapers for a clean look.
